Curious Little Girl

Emma is now a week shy of being seven months old and she is curious and reaching for everything:) I can not eat an apple or have a glass/bottle of water without sharing with her. Little Miss Smartie Pants has definitely mastered drinking from a straw. With having to eat out as much as we have been lately (living in a hotel for now going on 2+ months) it has been a huge blessing because it is a great way to distract her. I can not believe how fast she is growing up but we are having so much fun with our precious gift!

Happy (late) St. Patrick's Day

I know that these are late but I just loved Emma's St. Patrick's Day outfits. I found this tutu skirt for her and could not pass it up. It should fit next year as well... yay! Grandma sent Emma a St. Patrick's Day care package with this shamrock dress and matching bow. What a lucky little girl! We are down in Meridian waiting for Tyler to get his last two rides in. Hopefully the weather clears up because he is supposed to leave the U.S. on Sunday.

Little Lady

I just love this little face! Emma and I have been spending a lot of time lately taking pictures of her. I would LOVE to take a photography class one day. These pictures were taken at home but for the past two months we have been staying in a hotel off and on in Meridian, MS with Tyler as he prepares to deploy. We are so fortunate to be able to spend this time with him and travel home about once a week (for usually a 24 hour period) to wash our clothes and make a few meals to bring back to the hotel. We are not huge on eating out and it definitely gets old after two months. Even though living in a hotel with a baby has its challenges, we would not change this situation. We love the time we are getting to spend with him!
