Sunday was Running of the Brides, it is a Stephen's family tradition. All of the grand daughters who are married bring their wedding dresses to the brunch that takes place the day after the wedding. There are no excuses; these dresses have been across the country and back. As I said in my last post it is really neat because we are now up to eight granddaughters married and we will soon have a ninth plus two of the grandsons are engaged and I am pretty sure the tradition will continue with their future brides! It is really fun getting to wear your wedding gown again and it is good incentive to fit back into it once you have had kids. People have asked if the husbands have set this one up, but no, girls just love to get dressed up!
